Let's go around the World together!

Hello there! Let me introduce myself. I am Mrs. Glover, 7A World Studies teacher. I have been teaching for 9 years and love teaching 7th grade AND World Studies. I earned a Bachelors of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas (the true UT) at Austin. I majored in History and minored in Geography, while getting my teaching certification. I look forward to our year together!

Hobbies

I am a music lover and like to attend live concerts when I can. I also like to read, especially nonfiction. I have recently picked up tennis and sewing to keep my summers occupied, when I'm not traveling.

Music

My favorite artists change pretty frequently, but some of my top bands now are Half Moon Run, Typoon, Portugal The Man, and Alt-J. Some oldies but goodies would be Outkast, Johnny Cash, Led Zepplin, and Bob Marley.

Books

I try to always have a book to read. The subjects of these books vary greatly also. Right now I'm reading In the Shadow of the World, but have recently finished Devil in the Windy City, and What Great Teachers Do Differently.

Places

I love to travel! Some of my favorite places I've been to are Italy, Mexico, and the Bahamas. If I could travel for a whole year I would love to go to Thailand, Spain, Japan, South Africa, Brazil; the list is never ending!
